Monterey County prosecutors filed eight additional child abuse charges against two Salinas mothers yesterday (WED). 31-year-old Eraca Dawn Craig and 44-year-old Christian Jessica Deanda were arrested in March after allegedly starving an 8-year-girl at their Russell Road home. Both women have also been accused of abusing two boys, ages 3 and 5. Craig and Deanda have pleaded not guilty to the new charges. They will return to court January 7th for arraignment.
