Salinas community members held a public safety meeting last night. The topic of the meeting was abandoned buildings in South Salinas. The city passed an Ordinance in March, providing harsher penalties against property owners with abandoned buildings. Much community members believe the city isn’t doing enough to enforce the new ordinance.
