A Salinas native is waiting for a lung transplant. Lupe Rodriguez is in need of the life saving transplant after his lungs were damaged during a bout with covid 19 back in August. Rodriguez is now hospitalized at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago awaiting a suitable donor.
