A Salinas man has been sentenced for armed robbery and attempted murder in Santa Cruz County. Officials say 22-year-old Vincent Leonard Turner Jr. robbed three people on two occasions in 2013. Turner arranged to meet the victims through Craigslist then took their marijuana at gunpoint. On the second occasion, he robbed a Capitola man before shooting him in the arm and torso.  Turner has been sentenced to 23 years in prison.
