A Salinas man has been sentenced for gross vehicular manslaughter while driving with a blood alcohol level of .24 Luciano Rojas Medina was handed a 7+ year sentence for driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 north of Spence road in October of 2018, when his pick-up truck hit several other vehicles. 68 year-old Raymundo Navarro suffered fatal injuries in that incident. He had also been convicted of a misdemeanor D.U.I. two years before that.
