A Salinas man is scheduled to be sentenced (next month) to spend 7 years behind bars. That after 20 year-old Diego Jose Ramirez Rivera pleaded guilty to driving while drunk, causing the death of 1 passenger and injuries to 2 more. The fatal accident occurred when Rivera was driving about 85 miles per hour, and rolled his car on Old Stage Road near Iverson Road.
