A Salinas man pled no contest to felony charges repeatedly forcibly raped his daughter. According to the Monterey County District Attorney, Jeshuah ekolu Atuai-Levao molested his daughter in 2018. The victim reported the abuse in 2018 fearing for other siblings. She alleged the abuse started when she was 7 years old, however the DA says the family lived in Oregon until 2018 and California authorities can only hold Atuai-Levao accountable for recent assaults.
