A Salinas jewelry store was robbed at gunpoint by 2 masked men this morning. The 2 male suspects entered the Jewelry Outlet store on the 1200 block of North Main Street at around 11 a.m., when of the suspects, who was armed with a gun, ordered everyone in the store to the ground. The suspects then took roughly over $100,000 worth of jewelry that was on display after a store clerk could not find a key to open the safe. The robbers fled the store into an alleyway in a black SUV headed West on Rochex Avenue. Anyone with information, is asked to call the crime tip line at 1-800-78-CRIME.
