Salinas police are investigating the case of a Saturday afternoon accident. The incident took place in the afternoon when a pick-up truck transitioning from Highway 68 to South Main Street at a high rate of speed clipped another vehicle before crashing into the Nob Hill parking lot. The driver and a passenger have been hospitalized, a dog was killed in the collision.
