No one was injured when a Salinas home was destroyed by fire today. The noon-time fire broke out inside a house on Sierra Madre Drive in the Mission Park Neighborhood. Fire investigators say the blaze began when a canister of rags (soaking in linseed oil) spontaneously combusted.
