Some Salinas homes were evacuated for about an hour this morning. That after a gas leak was reported around 11 a-m, in the area of Crescent Way and Navajo Drive. The source of the leak was traced to an unoccupied house on the 500 block of Crescent Way. Crews went out and fixed the leak.
