A known Salinas gang member was arrested following a search of his home. Following an investigation, Salinas police executed a search warrant on Polermo Drive. The sear uncovered 12 ounces of heroin, an ounce of meth, and an unregistered hand gun. Juan Macias was taken into custody and transported to Monterey County Jail, where an additional 2 ounces of meth has found on his person. Macias is chrged with drug sales and weapons possession.
