Police arrested three men during a traffic stop in Salinas on Sunday. At about 5 p.m. a patrol unit pulled over a vehicle observed committing traffic violations near Del Monte Avenue and Towt Street. Officers approached the vehicle and noticed open containers, when the driver exited the vehicle officers noticed a gun in his waistband. 19 year old Jamie Beltran was arrested on weapons charges, passenger 19 year old Joshua Garcia was taken into custody on gun charges , and the third passenger 21 year old Ivan Acala was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
