A Salinas traffic stop ended with the arrest of a known gang member. Shortly after 2 a-m Sunday morning a patrol unit performed a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. The driver, 32 year old Oscar Gonzales, was found to be unlicensed. A search of the car uncovered a loaded stolen gun and methamphetamine. Gonzales, a known gang member was booked into the Monterey County Jail on gun and drug charges
