Salinas Valley Food and Wine Festival leaders are looking for volunteers to help run the October event. The festival itself is set to take place on October 20th and will feature 50 wineries, 30 breweries, and 150 vendors including local crafts, food, and no profit organizations. 100% of the profits will go to benefit charity. A meeting will be held this evening for anyone interested in helping out with event organization. Interested parties can find the festival leadership committee at 1032 South Main Street tonight from 7 to 9pm in Salinas.
