A Salinas roadway was temporarily closed due to flooding on Saturday. Shortly after 9 a.m. a vehicle lost control on North Davis Road and collided with a fire hydrant. The broken hydrant flooded parts of the roadway and the Westgate mall parking area. No injuries were reported.
