A shooting in Salinas left a person dead Saturday morning.
Salinas Police Department officers were sent to Lindwood Drive at Rainier Drive after a ShotSpotter alert was sent around 2 AM.
A 27-year-old man was found bleeding with several gunshot wounds. He was sent to a local hospital and succumbed to the injury.
A suspect has yet to be identified, and the persons name is pending release upon notifying next of kin.
