Salinas firefighters continue investigating the cause of a blaze that left one person dead this week. Crews responded to a burning home on the 1500 block of Caceras Circle at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday to find the homeowner, 59-year old Garrett Gould dead at the scene. According to coroners, Gould, who was the owner of a theatrical lighting company and lived in the home alone with his dog, was killed in the fire. An autopsy is slated for today.
