A Salinas Elementary School was placed on lock-down yesterday morning for about an hour after a report of a burglary. Police responded to a home right next to Oscar Loya Elementary School on the 11-hundred block of Eagle Drive around 11:45 a.m., to find four teens attempting to run from the scene. Police eventually arrested a 15-year old boy and three other 16-year olds. Police say one boy had property from the house with him and the remaining stolen items were found in a nearby trash can. All four were booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall.
