A child molester has been sentenced to prison. 41 year old Ralph Acosta Jr. was recently convicted of sexual assault of a child under 14, in connection with a December 2016 incident involving two children at a Salinas elementary school. On Friday a Monterey county judge sentenced Acosta to 8 years behind bars, the maximum allowed sentence by law.
