A 20-year old woman is listed in serious condition after being hit by a car last night in Salinas. Police responded to East Laurel Drive just East of St. Edwards Drive at around 7 p.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian and vehicle collision. Police say the impact of the crash caused the woman to bounce off the car’s windshield and land about 25-feet away. She suffered major head injuries and is currently at a Bay Area Trauma Center.
