A Salinas man was found guilty of possession of an illegal or deadly weapon this week after a billy club with spikes was found at his home last year. A parole search was conducted at the East Salinas home of 34-year old Francisco Ray Sanchez when officers found a 24-inch billy club that featured a spike encrusted head. Sanchez faces up to 8 years in prison, and is expected to be sentenced next month.
