A man was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail on gun charges last night. Officers responded to a report of a man with a possible gun at Dubber’s Bar in Salinas around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, the officers could see 24-year-old Estevan Gonzales seated at the bar with the outline of a gun in his pant pocket. The officers escorted Gonzales outside, where he admitted to having a gun on him. A search revealed a loaded firearm with obliterated serial numbers. Gonzales was transported to jail.
