Salinas police are investigating an armed robbery. Shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday two men entered a convenience store on East Alisal. One of the robbers produced a pistol while the other emptied the register of an undisclosed amount of cash. The men then fled the scene in a dark brown Nissan Altima.
