No one was injured when an apartment fire broke out in Salinas last night. The blaze was reported about 7 p.m., at a Santa Rita Street apartment complex. The blaze is thought to have begun on the balcony, and then moved inside and to the attic. The apartment was deemed uninhabitable last night.
