The city of Salinas has gone from being one of the cities (of it’s size) with the highest number of cases of Covid-19 , to having the lowest number of new infections per day in the country….and Santa Cruz county (as a whole) now has the second lowest number of new cases per day. Reportedly 60 percent of the eligible population in Monterey county has gotten at least 1 dose of the Covid-19 vaccine…..and in the city of Salinas, that number is 67 percent.
