Salinas police have released the name of the city’s 25th homicide victim. 20 year old Jaime (Hey-mee) Martinez and antother man were found suffering from gunshot wounds shortly before 7 p.m. on the 1500 block of Del Monte Avenue. Martinez was pronounced dead at the hospital, the other victim is expected tp survive. The shooting is being investigated as gang related.
