A car fire slowed Highway 101 traffic through Salinas yesterday (Thurs). Fire crews responded to a report of a vehicle fully engulfed in flame shortly before noon near the southbound Highway 101 Airport Boulevard off ramp. The fire was fully extinguished by 12:30 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
