A 33 year-old man has been sentenced to spend 17 years behind bars. That after Gabriel Garcia was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon, and inflicting great bodily injury for the benefit of the Norteno Street Gang. The conviction counts as a strike under the California’s 3-Strikes Law.
