A Salinas man has been sentenced to 2 years behind bars. That after 39 year-old Louis Gutierrez pleaded guilty to committing an assault for the benefit of the Norteno Street Gang. The incident, in which a 14 year-old teen was hit in the head and face (with a closed fist) occurred last month at a Salinas skate park….during a “National Night Out” event where Gutierrez was serving as an event coordinator.
