a man that was killed in the parking lot of a salinas apartment complex last week has been identified. police found 38 year old martin espinoza jimenez in a pool of his own blood last thursday. police tried to assist him but an intoxicated man and his pit bull interfered. witnesses reported hearing yelling prior to the fatal shooting but no suspects have been named.
