A 22-year old man was arrested early this morning following a high-speed pursuit through Salinas residential streets. Police say Jesus Garcia was arrested around 1:10 a.m. on the 1000 block of South Main Street on suspicion of hit-and-run, possession of a firearm and vehicle pursuit, after an officer tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle, when the car sped off and a pursuit began. Garcia was eventually pulled over and officers found a loaded handgun after searching through his car. Garcia also had 2 outstanding warrants for his arrest.
