Salinas police officers are set to deploy a sobriety checkpoint tonight. The checkpoint’s location will be revealed shortly before it goes into operation. For now, it is an undisclosed location somewhere in the city of salinas. The DUI checkpoint is being operated with the help of a state and federal grant.
