a drug counselor accused of sex crimes against students at salinas high school entered a plea of not guilty yesterday. 34 year old gilbert olivares pleaded not guilty to all 19 charges against him, which include child molestation and sending inappropriate material to minors. olivares faces a maximum of 15 years in jail if convicted of the charges against him. he’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing in april.
