Salinas police are looking for the suspects involved in an attempted murder on Friday evening. The shooting incident occurred at 7:35p.m., at Rider Avenue and Holly Street. A van pulled along side a vehicle occupied by a 20-year-old man and his mother, and the passenger in the van opened fire on the 2. Neither the man, nor his mother, were injured. The van fled toward Gee Street; the suspects have not been located. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Salinas police department.
