3 people have been arrested in connection with an attack on an elderly man in Salinas. 23 year-old Moses Hernandez was identified as the attacker, but when Salinas police officers tried to arrest him, Hernandez’s parents came to his aid. Hernandez and his parents were finally arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail. Hernandez’s 89 year-old victim was treated for a fractured orbital bone, and other injuries. Anyone who witnessed the 8:40 p.m. Friday night attack, near the intersection of Williams Road and Bardin Way, is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
