A new community initiative at the Fort Ord National Monument has launched.
The initiative is called Safe PASSAGES, and is designed to facilitate safety for users of the Monterey County-based trail.
The acronym Passages is short for “Pass At Slow Speeds And Give Everyone Space”.
This is part of a message for trail users to yield properly, pass at slow speeds, to give space, and communicate.
