National safe boating week is coming up. The Santa Cruz Harbor has announced that the week of May 18th through the 24th is safe boating week. The Port District is promoting safe boating during the week by taking part in a free vessel safety inspection offered by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The safety inspections will be held on Saturday, May 18th at the Santa Cruz Harbor launch ramp. The inspections are free.
