This Saturday, the Santa Cruz County Clerk is offering special passport hours for the first time in the 2020 New Year.
While passport applications are typically only processed during weekdays, this is one of five Passport Saturdays for this year.
Individuals and families who are interested in obtaining a passport over the weekend can do so this Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Santa Cruz County Courthouse.
Once an application is processed, it takes 6 to 8 weeks for a passport to make it to your mailbox.
The county clerk office is located at 701 Ocean Street in room 310.
