SANTA CRUZ COUNTY POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING MULTIPLE BURGLARIES AS WELL AS AN ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN THE SUMMITAREA LAST FRIDAY. THE BURGLARIES OCCURRED ON JENSEN ROAD AND OUTER ZAYANTE ROAD. THE ATTEMPTED BURGLARY ALSO OCCURRED ON JENSEN ROAD AT AROUND 10:40 A-M WHEN A MALE ATTEMPTED OPENING A HOME’S LOCKED DOORS WHILE THE RESIDENT WAS HOME. THE RESIDENT CAME OUT OF HIS HOUSE AND SAW THE SUSPECT FLEE IN A SILVER FORD FOCUS WITH LICENSE PLATE 6-Y-N-M-3-9-3. THE SUSPECT HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS 20 TO 30 YEARS OLD, AROUND 5-FOOT-7, WITH A DARK COMPLEXION, AND A MEDIUM BUILD. POLICE ARE ADVISING SUMMIT RESIDENTS TO SECURE THEIR HOMES AND TO CALL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY IF THEY SEE SUSPICIOUS PERSONS OR VEHICLES.
