Santa Cruz Mayor Mike Rotkin will step down tomorrow, marking an end to 26-years of service on the city council. The 65-year-old is term-limited, after having served 6-terms on the city council, including 5-years as the council’s rotating Mayor, over the last 32-years. Santa Cruz City Councilwoman, (and 3-time mayor), Cynthia Mathews is also termed-out, and will serve her last day tomorrow as well.
