Friends and family gathered in Salinas yesterday to remember 20-year-old Brenda Rodriquez Mendoza.
Mendoza was killed march first by salinas police while she was reportedly armed and barricaded inside her car.
Her mother says her daughter suffered from depression and was distraught over having her baby taken from her because of her drug addiction problem.
Meanwhile her family believes police should have handled the standoff differently and they’re waiting to see body cam video of the shooting.
