Vandalism charges against a former aptos resident have been dismissed. Prosecutors had presented video evidence that they said showed 22-year-old Zakari Micah Adams throwing river rocks through the window of a Soquel Avenue business. On monday, a judge said that it is unclear who the person in the video is, and decided Adams should not stand trial. The vandalism is 1 of about 120-rock-throwing-incidents that have occurred throughout Santa Cruz County this year. Video evidence reportedly has shown 3-individuals throwing the rocks at businesses. The district attorney’s office could re-file charges, after additional witnesses have allegedly linked Adams to the may 15th incident, which caused 1-thousand dollars in damage.
