1-person was arrested in south Monterey county, and another is still being sought, after an armed assault and robbery Monday night. The 2-suspects entered Rodriguez’s Jewelry, on the 4-hundred block of el camino real, (in Greenfield), and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. They assaulted him, but the clerk fought back, and the 2 fled. Officers from the soledad and Greenfield police departments help arrest 19-year-old Daniel salcedo, however the other suspect was not located. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact local authorities.
