4-people were arrested following a high speed chase from seaside to salinas. it started at 11 a.m., when the group of men attempted to rob a restaurant on the 1-thousand block of broadway. A gun fight erupted, and the men fled. Seaside police officers pursued the suspects to salinas, with the assistance of salinas police and other agencies. 1-of the suspects shot himself in the foot during the pursuit and was dropped off at svmh, the chase ended outside hartnell college when 2 of the 4 attempted to flee on foot. All 4-were booked into monterey county jail.
