Roadwork is expected to cause traffic delays in Santa Cruz County starting Monday. Crews will be working on Highland Way from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m through December. Lane closures will be necessary for storm damage repairs. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible or be prepared for delays of up to half an hour.
Also starting Monday, a continuous lane closure will be in place on East Zayante Road. Crews will be making roadway improvements until December 2nd. Temporary traffic signals will be used during this period. Motorists can expect delays no longer than half an hour.
