Emergency roadwork is scheduled to take place on northbound Highway 101 in Salinas later this week. The Number 2 lane is slated to be closed between Airport Boulevard and Sanborn Road on Thursday and Friday. Extended delays of 30 minutes or more can be expected, so motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route around that area.
