Some roads and trails in the Soquel Creek Demonstration Forest, and the Forest Of Nisene Marks State Park, will be closed periodically to address wildfire concerns. Crews will be removing small diameter trees and underbrush along ridgelines. The work will be done in several segments between now and when the fall rains begin.
In Phase One crews will be working in the area of Upper Buzzard Lagoon Road and Upper Aptos Creek Fire Road.
