Several Monterey county establishments are providing boarding for animals displaced by the River Fire. The Marina Equestrian Center and the Monterey County SPCA have joined to shelter animals evacuated by the River Fire. At this time the Marina Equestrian Center is sheltering 45 horses, 2 goats, 10 chickens, 3 emus and an alpaca.
