A fire consumed a local tavern in the Rio Del Mar community. Shortly before midnight, smoke could be seen billowing from the Sea Breeze Tavern, located next to Rio Del Mar State Beach.
Aptos/La Selva and Watsonville Fire both responded to the scene with approximately 7 engines.
No injuries are reported at this time, the fire appears to have been contained to the tavern, and the cause of fire remains under investigation.
